OUR STORY
From a small home décor and event business to a custom T-shirt and personalized gift shop, HeartKingdom has always been about creating something personal.
HOW IT STARTED
HeartKingdom LLC began in 2020 with a very different vision.
What started as a home décor and event business with my sister eventually became something entirely new. After she stepped away, continuing the original concept on my own became difficult. We served our final customer under that version of the business in May 2020.
By June 2020, I decided to rebrand and focus on the part of the business I enjoyed most, creating custom products.
I was already making personalized items, wood signs, and other custom pieces, and I realized that was where my passion really was. So HeartKingdom became a full-time custom T-shirt and personalized gift shop.
Over time, the business grew from personalized gifts and wood signs into custom apparel, group orders, event items, business products, church orders, team apparel, school items, and much more.
WHY HEARTKINGDOM?
The name has a pretty simple and slightly funny story. One of my favorite video games growing up was Kingdom Hearts. I knew I couldn't use that name, so I flipped it around.
I had already been using HeartKingdom for different things over the years, so when it was time to choose a business name, it just made sense.
What started as a playful idea became the name behind everything I create today.
WHAT WE DO TODAY
HeartKingdom LLC is a family-owned, Black-owned custom business based in Sarasota, Florida.
I personally create the custom designs and wood pieces while working with trusted suppliers for blank apparel, raw wood materials, and other production supplies.
Family reunions, churches, and special events have become some of the biggest parts of the business, and helping people bring those moments to life is something I'm especially proud of.
